New Imaging Technology Provides Aggressive Performance in a Space Saving Design

The Magellan 1000i is designed for “small-counter" retail environments. It is fast at capturing of hard-to-read labels, has outstanding ergonomics especially when handheld use is required, and has an excellent price to value ratio.

The Magellan 1000i imaging technology allows users to scan bar codes in any orientation with either a sweep or a presentation style of scanning; a first for retail imaging scanners.

The Magellan 1000i’s imaging technology has no moving parts, providing excellent reliability and durability. Adding new features and enhancements such as RFID coupling and new code symbologies are easily enabled via software changes. And, like the entire Magellan family, the Magellan 1000i has Datalogic’s multi-interface support built into each scanner, which allows a new interface with a simple program parameter change and a cable switch.
