Accurate Speech Recognition: CTGTALK is able to adjust for ambient and impulse noise conditions removing the necessity of manual noise sampling. Also, it provides near flawless speech-recognition accuracy even in very noisy industrial environments as that found in many warehouses and manufacturing plants. CTGTALK recognizes the difference between user commands and conversations with CTG's exclusive 'conversation filtering technology' so that conversational speech is ignored and spoken commands are acted upon by the system.

Device-Independence: CTGTALK operates on virtually all voice-enabled, mobile and stationary computers from rugged industrial hand-held devices to common PDA’s and desktops. The solution is designed to operate on Windows CE, Windows Mobile, Windows XP and Vista. The operator can use any noise-canceling headset, for voice picking and more, which eliminates the need for proprietary equipment. Adding text-to-speech and speech recognition functionality to enterprise systems is what we do at CTG.

Multimodal Application: The speech module of the CTGTALK Multi-Suite, allows a truly multimodal environment; the user can switch from voice instruction and speech recognition, to barcode scanning to keyboard/screen interaction to RFID or Bluetooth freely and seamlessly within the same interface.

If communications are interrupted for any reason, CTGTALK stores pending information and periodically retries data transfer. In environments without continuous RF coverage, CTGTALK implements a standard store-and-forward interface. To facilitate the interface with the user’s application, CTGTALK provides a standard API that can be invoked by standard 3GL or 4GL managed or unmanaged rapid development platforms like the .NET Framework C#, VB, C++, etc.
